Since a young age I have loved recording music, starting as a child when I was given my grandads old AKAI reel to reel machine so I could multi-track record my guitar. Fast forward to today and I have worked in many recording studios as an engineer as well as designing and building several studios for clients and teaching facilities.

I feel my experience on both sides of the glass, working as a recording musician & an engineer really help me to get the best out of a recording session, delivering the best recorded sound & musicians monitoring set up. I have a vast understanding of mixing consoles, microphones, mic techniques and room acoustics, but most importantly, over many years working in music I trust my ear when making important decisions in the studio.
As a studio engineer I see my role as helping the producer & artist achieve their sonic vision as quickly and efficiently as possible. I am there to help deliver the best approach for the recording session whilst having a solid understanding of the technical aspects of the work, so that the artists, musicians & producers can concentrate on the creative process.
